COVID-19 Protocols

Westmount Dental Waterloo is taking the following steps to keep our patients safe


At the start of each workday, all team members are screened for symptoms related to COVID-19.


  1. Patients are asked to register online and complete all pre-appointment paperwork electronically or over the phone.
  2. In-office patient appointments are spaced out and staggered to minimize the number of patients in our offices at any given time.
  3. Prior to their appointment, patients will be screened for COVID symptoms.
  4. All waiting areas are cleaned and sterilized throughout the day.
  5. All Westmount Dental staff are equipped with the level of personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
  6. All of the standard infection prevent and control (IPAC) protocols are being met and exceed the industry standard. Along with our COVID related IPAC and patient-safety protocols. We continue to be a leader in patient safety.
  7. Every room is equipped with high-end HEPA air filtration units to minimize spread of germs and aerosols.
